2023 Fall Fashion Trends
Hi y’all! Today I’m sharing a roundup of some fashion trends I have seen for the upcoming fall season!
I have seen these trends in fashion magazines, runway shows, and on social media. There are so many pieces we’re going to be seeing this fall, so here are just a few highlights:
Cherry red is predicted to be the color of the season. It is a bold and eye-catching color. You may see it used in coats, jackets, or sweaters. These items can instantly elevate your fall wardrobe and make a fashion statement. If you’re like me and prefer a more subtle approach, I would incorporate cherry red into accessories like scarves, bags, and shoes.
Another more neutral and versatile color we may see this fall is olive green. You can create a sophisticated and understated look when paired with other neutrals like beige, taupe, and shades of brown. This fall, you may see olive green jackets and pants.
Various mustard shades are classic 70s colors incorporated in many recent runway shows. You may see mustard yellow clothing items such as sweaters, coats, and pants, offering a warm touch to your fall wardrobe.
Oversized blazers and coats have been a growing trend in recent years, which may continue in 2023. Baggy garments pair well with more fitted pieces for a chic and modern contrast.
Mary Jane Heels are timeless and versatile, often appearing in various forms each year. We might see Mary Jane heels in cherry red or warm browns. I can’t wait to incorporate these into my fall wardrobe.
Adidas Bermuda sneakers are classic and have grown in popularity. As seen with the yellow mustard trend, retro-inspired fashion has been a recurring theme. With their vintage look, Adidas Bermuda sneakers can help achieve a retro-inspired outfit. Pair them with flared jeans, a graphic tee, and a bomber jacket for a 70s-inspired look.
Ballet flats are shoes whose return I have been waiting for. We can expect to see them in rich autumn colors like cherry red, mustard yellow, or classic brown shades. You can accomplish a well-balanced fall outfit by pairing these feminine shoes with bulky silhouettes.
If you want to try these trends, start with your personal style and build on that! Trends are fun to experiment with your style and learn what you like and could do without.
