Favorites Roundup // October

Hi friends! Today I’m sharing some items I’ve loved this past month!

If you’ve been following along, you know I got married in October! This Jo Malone perfume was the scent I wore on my wedding day. It’s a woody fragrance with a touch of lavender, making it the perfect fresh and light scent.

Another beauty item I’ve been loving is the Rare Beauty setting spray! I have a combo of dry and oily skin, and this mist does a great job of hydrating and leaving a radiant finish.

The final beauty item I love from this month is my Glow Beauty Hair Brush. It’s the best brush for painlessly detangling hair, preventing breakage and frizz.

On to fashion-

I recently picked up different colored ribbons to put bows in my hair! I love these pre-made bows from Free People, and they come in so many colors!

I’ve been looking for lounge sets to wear in and out of this house, and this Free People sweater set is chic and comfy. The slouchy fit and wide-leg pants make for the perfect cozy outfit. I also bought a chocolate brown Lululemon set dupe from Old Navy for just a fraction of the price. It’s a fleece set featuring the same drawstring funnel neck you would find on a Lululemon jacket.

Old Navy has been impressing me lately. On top of the set, I found a pair of jeans on sale for $20. This pair is a slim, straight leg that tapers at the ankle. I love them because they are perfect for more casual days at work.

I caved and bought a pair of the cutest dad sneakers. I’ve always been on the fence because the exaggerated bulk of the “dad shoe” trend has never been my thing. However, the New Balance 530s caught my eye because they’re versatile and still offer the retro aesthetic without the chunkiness associated with dad shoes. I got the sea salt ice blue colorway because I felt the subtle pop of color on the white sneaker would match best with what I already have in my closet. These are quickly becoming my most worn pair of shoes because they are so comfy. I wear them for walks, work, and out on the town.

The last fashion item I wanted to highlight is these earrings from the boutique I work at! They are currently my favorite earrings, and they level up any outfit.

Thanks for reading!

Love, Leah
